From the cool calm waters to the fantastic restaurants, there are all kinds of options to explore while on Cape Cod.  We found a variety of places to go to tempt your taste buds and fulfill your adventurous side while exploring East Dennis.

The Marshside

Our first stop is at The Marshside, a casual restaurant overlooking Sesuit Creek.  The dining location serves up fresh seafood, burgers, sandwiches and salads for lunch, along with the addition of items like chicken, beef stew and meatloaf for dinner.

Open every day of the week for lunch and dinner, you’ll find The Marshside right on Bridge Street in East Dennis.  The location also offers convenient take-out service.

Lost Dog Pub

Originally opened in the US Virgin Islands, Lost Dog Pub is now a favorite of locals and tourists in East Dennis and neighboring Orleans.  This family-friendly dining spot offers fresh seafood, burgers, pizza and some daily specials.

Lost Dog Pub is located on Route 134 in East Dennis.  While you dine, be sure to pick up a Lost Dog Pub t-shirt, hoodie or coffee mug to bring home as a souvenir.

Sesuit Harbor Café

While it may not look like fine dining from the outside, Sesuit Harbor Café is a legendary Cape Cod clam shack.  For 16 years the café has served up breakfast, lunch and dinner with outside dining overlooking Cape Cod Bay and Northside Marina.

Sesuit Harbor Café opens each season on May 1 and stays open until Columbus Day, serving breakfast and lunch.  Dinner is served from Memorial Day weekend through mid September.  If you plan on experiencing the food, though, be sure and bring some cash.  The café doesn’t accept debit or credit cards.

Northside Marina

While you’re in the area, be sure to take time to explore Northside Marina.  The location offers plenty of boat slips and racks, plus winter storage, engine repair and fuel.  In addition, the marina includes a paint shop, a store and restrooms with private showers.

If you don’t have your own boat, you can always book a dining and sightseeing cruise.  You’ll find daily sunset cruises from Sesuit Harbor available.  There is also the option of the Freedom Boat Club, with membership options providing boats for use on Cape Cod Bay.

No matter whether you want to experience a great meal on dry land, or hit the water, you are sure to have a great time exploring East Dennis.
